Kristen started at KUSI in July of 2006. She is very happy to call Southern California home, and is now telling the stories of the people who live and work in America's Finest City!

In high school, she wrote an essay and stated that she wanted to "report the news honestly, accurately and with pride". She had an early love for telling stories.

Originally from New York, Kristen started her career at Cable 6 TV in Middletown, New York as an anchor/reporter. In 1992, she covered "Operation Provide Hope", traveling to Russia with members of the Air National Guard as they delivered food and supplies.

Kristen then worked at KCBD in Lubbock, Texas and quickly moved on to WTNH NewsChannel 8 in New Haven, Connecticut. She was at Channel 8 for nine years, as morning reporter, weekend anchor, then morning and noon anchor.

Kristen was honored to be named one of New Haven County's Top 20 Noteworthy Women. She also emceed many charity events and walks during her time in Connecticut.

In the fall of 2006, Kristen flew with the Blue Angels as part of KUSI NEWS' coverage of the Miramar Air Show.

Kristen is enjoying everything about living right in the heart of beautiful downtown San Diego.
