  • The San Diego Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation plays a huge part in helping the Navy community here in the county. Joining us this morning to tell us about its services and an upcoming event was founder and chairman of the foundation, Craig Irving.
  • "Act of Valor" is a movie about an elite team of Navy SEALs who embark on a covert mission to recover a CIA agent.  Joining us this morning were the two directors of the film, Mike "Mouse" McCoy and Scott Waugh. "Act of Valor" comes out on February 24th.

  • Derek Thomas was one of two survivors of a terrible accident that took the lives of four others. Derek was on his way home after a trip to Mammoth with friends & classmates on August 9, 2010 when the SUV he was riding in lost control, flipped on its side and was hit by oncoming traffic. He suffered burns on more than 85% of his body and doctors gave him a 1 percent chance of survival.  Derek beat those odds and he joined us in studio to tell us about a big event coming up.
