One year removed from an undefeated season and a State Championship, the #6 Cathedral Catholic Dons 2017 season ended last night with a 38-28 quarterfinal loss to the #3 Carlsbad Lancers.  The first half was an offensive explosion by both teams as they traded touchdowns. National City Mile of Cars South Bay Game of the Week: Otay Ranch Mustangs 49, Lincoln Hornets 26

The Week 13 South Bay Playoff Game of the Week features Lincoln  (9-2) traveling to Otay Mesa to take on the 7-3 Mustangs.     For Otay Mesa, the big challenge will be how to control Quarterback Asante Hertzog whose numbers are truly amazing. He has thrown 23 touchdown passes for a total of 2,290 yards. He is considered to be one of the top five quarterbacks in the county.       


Small School Game of the Week: Granite Hills Eagles 49, Valley Center Jaguars 30

The Small School Game of the Week in Week 13 of the Prep Pigskin Report takes us to Valley Center where the Jaguars host the Granite Hills Eagles in the division 2 second round of the play offs.
