Double-amputee Marine Sgt. stops in San Diego as part of 'month of marathons'
Marine Sgt. Rob Jones became the first double-amputee to ride a bicycle cross-country — 5,100 miles from Maine to San Diego in 2014. A few weeks ago, he embarked on another extraordinary feat: to complete 31 marathons in 31 consecutive days in 31 different cities. Jones stopped in San Diego for day 19 of his journey.
