Event Description

The 2006 Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held on Sunday, October 15th at the UCSD campus, School of Medicine lawn. The Walk To Cure Diabetes is the fastest-growing fundraising event in the history of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Last year, nearly $81 million was raised through the Walk To Cure Diabetes to fund diabetes research. Walkers ask relatives, friends and co-workers to sponsor them for participating in the Walkathon, which benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
