Dimension Films Cooks Up a Fall 'Feast'
NEW YORK -- Dimension Films announced that "Feast," the horror movie, whose inception and production was made possible and documented by the third season of the hit show "Project Greenlight" on the Bravo network, will hit theatres nationwide for special late night showings beginning on September 22 and 23, 2006. The special run will be followed by the DVD launch of "Feast" on October 17, 2006.

Directed by "Project Greenlight" winner and first time filmmaker John Gulager, "Feast" is the terrifying tale of a motley crew of strangers who find themselves trapped in an isolated tavern and must band together in a battle for survival against a family of flesh-hungry creatures. The ensemble cast includes Balthazar Getty ("Alias"), Henry Rollins (IFC's "The Henry Rollins Show"), Navi Rawat ("The O.C.," "Numb3rs"), Josh Zuckerman ("Surviving Christmas"), Judah Friedlander (MTV2's hit show "Wonder Showzen"), Jason Mewes ("Clerks II"), Jenny Wade ("Rumor Has It") and Krista Allen (HBO's "Unscripted").

"Feast" will make its world premiere on September 12, 2006 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

"We are thrilled to be able to bring this film -- an incredible accomplishment for a first time filmmaker -- to audiences everywhere," stated Bob Weinstein, Co-Chairman of The Weinstein Company and founder of Dimension Films, which backed the production of “Feast”.

John Gulager, the contest winner who was tapped to direct his first feature film for “Project Greenlight” said, "This is a dream come true -- making a movie. And then it's a movie like ‘Feast’! Monsters, chicks, explosions, blood, a studio film, a real budget...I mean...come on! It's a really fun film that will surprise a lot of people and shock some."

"Feast" was written by "Project Greenlight" winners Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, and was produced by Michael Leahy and Joel Soisson, and Larry Tanz, Marc Joubert and Andrew Jameson, executive produced by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Chris Moore, Wes Craven, Gavin Maloof, Joe Maloof, Phil Maloof, George Maloof, Adrienne Maloof and Colleen Maloof. Dimension Films presents "Feast" in association with Maloof Motion Pictures in association with Neo Art & Logic and is a Live Planet Production.
