Little League Field All Set To Play Ball
Thursday, February 21, 2008 - KUSI's Michael Turko has new developments tonight, on a file he opened back in 2001. Turko says things looked pretty bleak in the beginning, and it took a lot of pushing and prodding to turn things around.
What's all the ruckus about? It's about getting things done, and here's a long running file that drives the point home. When little league parents ran into big problems on their kid's field of dreams, they asked me for help. I raised a ruckus about bad drainage, shoddy construction work and a "just don't care" attitude. That got the community energized, and now thanks to all their efforts, it'll be smooth sailing when the umpire yells play ball! |
