Trash Truck Trauma
Tuesday, March 18, 2008 - KUSI's Michael Turko is looking into a City of San Diego policy that requires residents to pay for city issued trash cans. The trash cans used to be free, but Turko says the City Council put an end to that to try to save money.
If you live in the city you have to use a certain type of trash can that works with the city's automated garbage trucks. Now if something happens to it, they charge you big bucks for a new one. Most people say they can live with that new policy except for one thing, the biggest threat to the trash cans is apparently trash truck trauma! |
