Turko Meets With City Trash Officials
Wednesday, March 19, 2008 - KUSI's Michael Turko has been looking into a new policy that forces San Diego homeowners to pay for replacing damaged city-issued trash cans. Turko promised he'd get to the bottom of it, and tonight he's getting closer after a meeting with city trash collection officials.
Turko opened this file when he started getting calls from all over about trash cans being destroyed by city trash trucks. And the calls just keep on coming. Now city officials say there's a logical explanation for the problem. The cans are getting old, and they're suffering from a bad case of on the job burnout! |
