Political Candidates Weigh In On Trash Issues
Thursday, May 1, 2008 - KUSI's Michael Turko has been investigating the City of San Diego's trash collection system, and that's making waves at city hall. Turko says city officials want to charge for trash pickup, and that's becoming a hot political issue.
In Turko's last report, he exposed a city plan to try charging residents for trash pickup. City Attorney Mike Aguirre helped cook up that plan. He's up for re-election, and right after Turko's report aired one of his opponents called with his take on charging for trash pickup: he says "that's nuts!" |
