City Skate Park Shut Down!
Tuesday, May 5, 2009 - A young skateboarder called KUSI's Michael Turko about a city project that went downhill, and then went sideways. Turko says the project was supposed to be a breakthrough for local kids, but it's been neglected for months.
The City of San Diego spent two million bucks of our money building a top notch skate park complex five years ago. And the park department tried to make it work. But now it's become a black eye for the city, a victim of the budget wars, and a monument to the inefficiency and waste that plague our city government from top to bottom.
