No Decent Explanation
Wednesday, June 10, 2009 - Last night, KUSI's Michael Turko exposed a mortgage tragedy that left a North County couple almost homeless. Tonight Turko shows us evidence that serious mistakes by a huge national mortgage company may have caused the problem.
In my last report I showed you what happened, now let's take a look at why. My investigation shows GMAC Mortgage apparently ignored legally binding documents, then refused to talk to the homeowners about it. They took their money, sold their home, and left them on the street with no apology, and no decent explanation. |
