Troubled Little League On The Rebound
Tuesday, August 11, 2009 - KUSI's Michael Turko is making steady progress on behalf of a North County little league team he's been helping for several years. Turko says the team has been facing one challenge after another, but they're survivors, and the game is far from over.
Little league baseball is supposed to instill positive values in our kids, like overcoming adversity. Here's a team that's had more than their share of that. Last month the latest blow was a fire that destroyed a lot of their equipment. But they're steadily making progress, and like the mythical phoenix, they're determined to be even stronger when they rise from the ashes. |
