Encinitas Park To Be A Recreation Reality
Monday, September 14, 2009 - KUSI's Michael Turko has a major breakthrough, on a case he's been working on for almost eight years. Turko says a new park in Encinitas that was opposed by a single-purpose citizens group is now back on track at last.
Here's a citizens group that's been acting like they stole a page from the playbook of Tila Tequila. First they went to city officials and got nowhere. Then they took their battle against a new public park to court and started spreading malicious rumors. But last week a judge handed them their hat and ruled against every one of their claims. Now an incredible new park is finally about to become a recreation reality! |
