Real Estate Transaction Train Wreck!
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 - A North County couple called KUSI's Michael Turko when a hot real estate deal melted down into a real mess. Turko says they did everything right, but a foreclosure foul-up let them down.
Even real estate professionals say this is one of the strangest cases they've ever seen. It started out as a short sale to prevent foreclosure, but someone dropped the ball, and the same house got sold to two different buyers at the same time. It got a lot worse when the wrong buyer started to remodel, and that left the real new owners stuck in a real estate transaction train wreck! |
