Neighbors Want Streetlights Turned Back On
Wednesday, October 21, 2009 - A Rancho Penasquitos woman says she's been threatening to call KUSI's Michael Turko for over three months now, and finally she did. Turko says she's been trying to get two street lights fixed since they went dark last summer.
I've done stories on broken street lights before and they almost always shake out the same way. It takes a month or so to figure out what went wrong, a month to figure out who has to fix it, and another month to schedule the work and get it done. When it goes past three months I go on the air and yell about it, and someone gets the lights turned back on. Go figure! |
