How is seasonal flu different than pandemic flu?

In the U.S, flu season usually occurs between October and March or April. Seasonal flu vaccine is recommended annually for persons at risk for influenza-related complications, and this year is being given at Public Health Centers and many other locations throughout the County.

For more information about pandemic H1N1 influenza, visit the County's H1N1 influenza site.
