Murdered Iraqi Immigrant Remembered, Parents Cannot Attend
What's especially sad about this viewing and wake is that six months ago Firas Eiso was sent here by his family from Iraq to get away from the violence.
The funeral for Eiso, one of two murder victims in a brutal murder at an El Cajon liquor store on March first, will be held tomorrow. But it will be held without Eiso's parents in attendance. The parents live in Jordan, and their request for a visa to come to the U.S was turned down. The American Embassy in Jordan denied the visa on grounds that his family would come here and then try to seek political asylum. For more on this story click on the video icon above. |
