Experts Worried Killer Algae May Spread
They call it "Killer Algae", it's illegal in California and Florida, but it's still out there in aquariums all over the place. Now, environmental experts are trying to attack the problem from the other end, by keeping it out of our bays and coastal waters. The Algae is a deadly toxic poison to sea life in just about all forms: fish, eel grass, kelp anything that grows on the sea floor, or spawns there. It's illegal to even have it in California, but enforcement is a real problem, there is still a lot of it around, legal or not.
