Trial begins for an Ocean Beach man accused of killing his wife

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A prosecutor told jurors today that an Ocean Beach man killed his estranged wife and got rid of her body because she took him to court for child support, but a defense attorney said his client panicked and disposed of the victim's body when she fell down some stairs at his house and died.

Sean Payton hung over the railing clapping and shouting down to the crowd as if he were rolling on a Mardi Gras float, then waved a newspaper with the banner headline "WORLD CHAMPS."
