Horton Plaza Mall believed to be in escrow with Stockdale Capital Partners
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The Horton Plaza Mall in downtown San Diego is believed to be in escrow with Stockdale Capital Partners.
Jason Hughes — CEO of Hughes Marino — while not involved in the sale, represents a vast majority of companies in San Diego. He confirmed that Stockdale Capital Partners — which specializes in investing, developing and managing under-performing commercial real estate — is now in escrow to buy the mall.
Natural food grocer, Jimbo’s Naturally, recently filed a lawsuit against Horton Plaza after the mall fell into disrepair, impacting Jimbo’s sales.
