Local inventor Marc Slott showed us a new way to keep our valuables safe in the event of fire, disaster or theft.
My Home Inventory is an online program that provides a way to keep up-to-date records for insurance, bank statements, loan documents, etc. After 3,000 homes were destroyed in their hometown during the San Diego Wildfires in 2003, Marc and his partner Ed Lewis decided to create a product so that people can easily document their belongings in the event of a disaster.
