Fairness Doctrine Coming Back?
The Fairness Doctrine was adopted in 1949 in hopes to establish fairness over the airwaves. Broadcasters were required to present contrasting views when it came to controversial issues. The rule has been non-existent since 1987, but that could all change now that the power in Washington has shifted. Talk show host Rick Amato was in-studio with more on the subject.
