GUEST SEGMENTS:
- Food Expiration Dates: With the recent spinach scare still fresh in consumers' minds, we're taking a closer look at food freshness and safety. Registered Nutritionist Katie Bogue joined us in studio to talk about food expiration dates, to find out what they really mean. Here are some helpful tips: "Sell by" is more of a guide for the store to know how long it can display a product for sale. "Best before" or "best if used by" refers to a quality or flavor of food. And "Use by" works more like an expiration date. For more nutrition information, click here.
