Wide Gap Between Wages and San Diego Cost of Living
A new study confirms what many people already knew: the cost of supporting a family in San Diego far exceeds the income levels of many full-time workers. The report was prepared by the Center for Policy Initiatives. It shows a single adult needs an annual income of $28,000 to meet basic expenses, while a family of four needs $71,000. And many jobs in the county do not come up to that level.
