College Planning Specialist Ron Caruthers stopped by KUSI to relay some tricks to picking up extra funding.

Caruthers explained why financial aid is never out of reach, no matter what the demographic or income level.

He said one of the first steps is filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.
