Local Author Amy Wallen
She's a local author whose debut novel is getting praise across the country.
Amy Wallen joined us on "Good Morning San Diego" to talk about the adventure that unfolds in her new book "MoonPies and MovieStars." The book looks at the crazy things that happen to three spunky ladies when they decide to travel from their small town in Texas to Tinseltown. Currently, Amy teaches creative writing at UCSD Extension and leads an advanced private read and critique group. She also hosts the monthly open mic prose reading sponsored by San Diego Writers Ink and she sits on their advisory board.
