Poway Teen Makes Film on Immigration
A Poway teenager's film on illegal immigration is gaining national attention. It's called, "The Silent".
The idea came to Jordan Burt after he witnessed a deadly car accident involving an undocumented immigrant. Now the film has been chosen as one of 40 films being shown at the upcoming "Smogdance Film Festival." The first public screening of the film will take place Thursday, January 25th at 7 p.m. at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts. They're located at 15498 Espola Road.
