This fall, the KUSI Prep Pigskin Report begins its 10th season as the gold standard for high school football coverage.  What started as a 15-minute, "highlights only", extended sportscast, has grown into an hour-long "Pigskin Extravaganza".

Every Friday night during the fall, the PPR will have camera crews roaming San Diego County to capture the true essence of the San Diego high school football scene.  Most episodes will feature highlights from more than 30 football games, but that's just the tip of the "Pigsberg".  From the fans in the stands to the kids in the band, the PPR brings the complete prep football experience right into your living room.  It's a TV program that's all about community -- your community.

Each Tuesday night on the KUSI NEWS at 6, we will release the names of the four candidates for that week's Play of the Week.   Soon afterwards, viewers will be able to see the plays on their computer screens and cast a vote for their favorite play.  (Only one vote per I.P. address, please -- additional votes will not count.)  The polls will stay open throughout the week, with the weekly winner announced at the end of the show on Friday night.

Play of the Week winners win the most coveted t-shirt in high school football:  the silk-cashmere blend, hand-stitched, limited edition "Play of the Week " T.

More importantly, Play of the Week winners along with members of Shack's Pig Pen and featured Student Athletes will qualify for Player of the Year consideration, and a chance at real immortality:  their named etched on the side of the Prestigious Silver Pigskin trophy!
