KUSI's Rick Willis wants to remind you that riding your bike, rollerblading or skateboarding in the middle of the street is dangerous.

- Take advantage of the city's great bike trails and skate parks but don't forget to wear a helmet, knee and elbow pads. Protecting yourself can be the difference between a fun trip to the park or a trip to the doctor

- When you're heading outside to play, make sure you let someone know where you're going,
when you're coming home and what path you plan on taking

- Always wear your helmet and other protective gear so that you can stay safe and prevent yourself from getting hurt
