Alexis DelChiaro joined the KUSI News family in October 2010, co-anchoring Good Morning San Diego weekdays from 5am to 9am.
"I am so thrilled to be back in my home state, working in one the most beautiful cities in the country," said Alexis.
Alexis moved back to California after years in Phoenix, co-anchoring FOX 10 Arizona Morning and FOX 10 News at Noon. Alexis has also worked at KYMA in Yuma, AZ and KEYT in Santa Barbara, CA.
A graduate of the University of California in Santa Barbara, Alexis majored in communications and minored in Spanish.
Alexis has been fortunate to cover a wide range of stories in her career; including her own tryout for So You Think You Can Dance, skydiving with the US Army Golden Knights, and flying with the Navy's prestigious Blue Angels!
When not doing the news, Alexis enjoys seeing the world. You'll also find her running, doing yoga and spending time with her family and friends. She can often be found volunteering with charitable organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
