Bonnie Dumanis talks about the Nunez stabbing case and what's next now
On Governor Schwarzenegger's last day in office, he made a controversial move by reducing the prison sentence for the son of a former assembly speaker. Estaban Nunez' sentence was reduced to 7 years after he plead guilty in his role in the 2008 stabbing death of Luis Santos. Santos' family has since filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Esteban Nunez and three other men convicted in the case. They are also suing to have Nunez's full sentence restored.
Thursday afternoon San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis along with the Santos family will announce their next step in their opposition to Governor Schwarzenegger and what they are going to do to stop these kinds of moves in the future.
