NEWS PRODUCER

KUSI NEWS is looking for a full-time news producer.

Job requirements: Must have a minimum of 3-5 years TV News Producing Experience in mid to major market size. Will prepare a show for broadcast. Candidate will assist in writing stories, monitor incoming affiliate feeds on a daily basis, assist in the selection of video for open of the broadcast, will assist Executive Producer in reading report scripts to make sure they are factual, balanced and clear. Will monitor the progress of assigned stories and will coordinate with the studio director to control the news broadcast from start to finish when it is on the air.

Job Skills: Effective writing, excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills. Must exercise excellent organizational, planning, and good judgment. Must have the ability to perform duties and make decisions under extreme pressure and under a deadline while multi-tasking. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
