Monday, December 26, 2011 - KUSI's Michael Turko got the call when a homeowners association decided to go to war over a new set of front doors. Turko says the HOA claims the doors are inconsistent with the character of the neighborhood, and must be removed.
All they wanted to do was add a bit of color to their home, and let in a little bit of light in their front entryway. So they commissioned a local artist to design a stained glass masterpiece. Now it's not something outrageous that stands out, in fact, if you didn't know it was there you'd probably never notice it. And they say they only got one compliant, from their own HOA. It ain't right!
