Wednesday, January 4, 2011 - Some north county taxpayers contacted KUSI's Michael Turko when they got tired of hearing one story after another from the city of Encinitas. Turko says they were promised a new city park ten years ago, and still have nothing to show for it.
What we're supposed to have here is a huge city park with something for everyone. The people voted for it, the city of Encinitas bought the land. But the project has been slogging along in limbo ever since my first report eleven years ago! Now local residents say enough is enough, it's time to get the job done.
