San Diego Chargers say Thank You San Diego

Posted: Updated:

The San Diego Chargers were out and about all over the city of San Diego on Wednesday say “Thanks”! This is a part of their #ThankyouSD campaign where they are thanking the fans for all they have done in supporting the team over the years.

Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates were part of the group that went to Mission Beach, and rode “The Big Dipper”.  And we found out that neither were fans of roller coasters, “I know my limitations” said Gates, “And that is about my limit (When it comes to roller coasters).”

Their were also several people on hand to sign the petition to get Chargers Downtown stadium Initiative on the ballot for Novembers election. “This would be a great spot for a Stadium,” said Chargers head coach Mike McCoy, as he and the Chargers linebackers were walking downtown.

Linebacker Manti Te’o took time out to check out the menu at "Union Kitchen and Tap”, Shrimp and Grits Bro its gluten free” Said Te’o. When Te’o was asked if he really does he gluten free he responded, “No I am not gluten free, it just sounds healthy.”

In 4S Ranch, the defensive line was saying hello to everyone. Defensive end Corey Liuget took advantage, he was a bagger at Ralphs Grocery store, as well as a bartender at "Miguel’s Cocina.”
