Horizon Christian Panthers 48, Classical Academy Caimans 34

Friday nights Division 5 semi-final match-up pitted the number 1 seed Classical Academy Caimans (7-5) against the late season upstart  4th seeded Horizon Christian Panthers (7-6) at Orange Glen High School.

With a heavily dominated Caiman home crowd, the Panthers wasted little time showing off their surprisingly superior skills. Horizon's onslaught started with two quick 40+ yard touchdowns from Wideout Artyom Harr. Harr would end up touching the ball three times for as many touchdowns.

Every time Classical Academy would counter with their own score, Horizon had an answer. The Caimans found themselves down heading into the half 26-3 and would battle from behind all evening.

Panther Quarterback Thomas Marcus looked extremely comfortable all night, scrambling for positive yards when he couldn't find an open receiver.

Classical Academy would stick to their guns, trying to find holes for star Running Back Ty Patterson. Unfortunately the clock was not on their side and Horizon proved to be too fast and tough.

The Horizon Panthers will go on to play for the Division 5 championship next week against the Ti-City Christian Eagles (10-2). Make sure to tune into the Prep Pigskin Report on KUSI next Friday night at 10:30pm for all highlights and scores!
