Sweetwater running back Marty Sesma is definitely one to watch. Last year he garnered All League honors. The Red Devils are not lacking in size with at least two linemen over 300 pounds. Sweetwater Coach Bryan Wagner, of who is in his first year, was a star kicker for Hilltop High School. Ironically, Hilltop has been playing all of their home games at Sweetwater while their field is being replaced.
Serra has quite the young quarterback in Tim Zebroski who is only a sophomore. After four games he has thrown 6 touchdown passes and rushed for five scores. He is only 5'7" and tips the scales at 143 pounds. Myles Bryant has also scored five rushing touchdowns and is averaging over 100 yards per game. On defense Serra is lead by Kieve Curry who has 19 solo tackles under belt. Tackle Jimmy Nguyen who at 6'2", 250 pounds, is a force to be reckoned with both on and off the field. With a GPA of well over 4.0, he is being courted by several D-III universities.
