PREVIEW: The Small School Game of the Week in Week 6 of the Prep Pigskin Report takes us out to La Jolla where the Mission Bay Buccaneers will be taking on the Bishop's Knights.

Mission Bay (0-4) is still looking for their first win of the season. There are a total of 37 players and 22 of them being sophomores. Mission Bay is coming off a tough loss last week against Patrick Henry 28-7, two losses at the beginning of the season to Escondido and West Hills without scoring any points at either game and another loss to Rancho Buena Vista, the Buccaneers are hoping to turn their luck around this Friday against the Knights.

Former Kearny Coach and current first year head coach Kenny Nears is rebuilding this young team into a power dominant team. Coach Nears knows he can count on senior quarterback Jaiden Correa to help guide the team to a future victory. Correa's main target is Kenneth Russell. Wessly Danzy is a huge force on defense.

On the other side of the field are the Bishop Knights who finished last season as state Division 3A runner-ups and won the San Diego Section Division III title. The Knights who are currently undefeated (4-0) have all but three returning starters. The Bishop's School secured a W over Grossmont, Patrick Henry, St. Margaret's (located in San Juan Capistrano) and Monte Vista.

Head coach Joel Allen is in his 9th year with Bishop's and knows he can count on senior quarterback Jeffery Jackson who has thrown for 766 yards for 10 passing touchdowns and 18 rushing yards for one touchdown. His main target is wide receiver Mozes Mooney who has 256 receiving yards for 5 touchdowns and his own brother Jacob Jackson who has 326 receiving yards and three touchdowns. When Knights want to run the ball, they can count on Wyatt Charrette with 32 rushing yards. Charrette is also a huge force on defense with 7 tackles and three sacs. Clay Witmyer and Garth Erdossy are also huge forces on defense.

The Bishop's School looking for another win and to remain undefeated as the Mission Bay Buccaneers look to win their first game of the season.
