Friday night’s matchup takes us out to Mission Bay High School where the Buccaneers faced the Christian High Patriots. The Christian High Patriots had the games first possession on offense and it take long for Brad Jeremiah to connect with his receiver Brice Riepl from 43 yards out to start the busy night for the Patriot offense. Jeremiah continued on the night to throw a total of eight, yes eight touchdown passes. Jeremiah tossed five of his eight to separate teammates throughout the game. Tonight his favorite target was Alexander Gonzalez who had quite a night with 4 receptions and 4 touchdowns. Jeremiah’s final stat line reads 20 for 26, 359 yards and 8 touchdowns. The Patriot defense also came to play with 25 tackles lead by David Ventura who had 5 tackles on the night as well as 2 sacks. The Buccaneers struggled throughout the night but late in the 3rd quarter the special teams helped out and provided the Bucs first score, although it was far too little and far too late for the Bucs as the Patriot offense proved it was too powerful for the Bucs defense. Final score, Patriots 68- Buccaneers 12.

Friday night’s matchup takes us out to Mission Bay High School where the Buccaneers host the Christian High Patriots. The Bucs have been struggling this year and come into this matchup 0-5, on the other hand the Patriots are 4-1 this season and are looking to get back on track after last weeks loss to Santa Fe Christian. The Patriot offense has been nothing short of clinical in their four wins this year with last weeks in studio guest Brad Jeremiah who averages around 350 passing yards a game. He leads the Patriot offense that averages around 400+ yards a game as well as over 40 points per outing. On the other side of the ball the Bucs defense has a large task because as a defensive unit this year they’ve allowed around 35 points per game. The Bucs offense look to it going even though they average just shy of a touchdown a game through week six. The Patriot defense is very strong this year and are averaging around 50 tackles a game lead by CJ Kirwan who has around 10 tackles. Can the Bucs pull off a David vs Goliath upset or will the Patriot offense continue to roll.
