Point Loma Pointers 10, Cathedral Catholic Dons 7

Posted: Updated:

This Friday nights matchup takes us up to Cathedral Catholic High School where the (4-4) Dons host the (5-3) Point Loma Pointers. The Pointers are fresh off a huge top-10 upset last week when they took down the Madison Warhawks 33-22. The Dons themselves are currently on a two game win streak beating Scripps Ranch and Mira Mesa.

The Pointers have a dangerous dual threat offense with their running back averaging over one hundred yards a night. The offense is led with the pass with quarterback Kyle Grady helping to balance everything out, averaging just about 200 yards per game through the air. With a Pointer offense averaging around thirty-five points a game, the Dons will have their hands full on defense.

With the help of Colin Myers and Jordan Allen they plan to put an end to the Pointers recent success. Running back Shawn Poma and quarterback Caleb Price who run the wing t formation to perfection lead the Dons powerful offense. Will the Pointers continue to roll on offense or will the Dons be able to stop the Pointers offense and run the ball for a win.
