THE WEATHER IN BRIEF

It's a Sosa, Sort Of Santa Ana, in charge most of the week. That means Sunny and Warmer for San Diego.

But this Sosa is not strong enough to keep the WOF, Wall Of Fog, from the beaches. So a surge of dense fog came ashore on beaches Monday afternoon and will be along the shore through Tuesday, at least. Travel on the I-5 has been slowed to crawl at several spots.

Otherwise, great.

Here is the Seven Day San Diego forecast as issued by the National Weather Service on Monday evening:

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 53. North wind around 5 mph becoming east.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.
