Drizzle or a sprinkle or two; that's all San Diego can hope for from the latest weather front that moves through the county Thursday night and Friday morning. Its main energy will go both north and south of us while we continue with a mostly dry case of the meteorological blahs.

The weather will turn tranquil and seasonably cool for the weekend and next week without another chance for precipitation in the immediate future.

Here is the Seven Day San Diego forecast as issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday evening:

Tonight: A chance of drizzle after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. North wind around 5 mph.

Friday: A chance of drizzle before 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 73.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 72.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Veterans Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.
