Daily Blog, 5/5/09: Coleman's Comments
May 5th.... A quiet day for this global warming debunker. Yesterday I made a speech to an Encinitas Seniors oganization. I used all of the phrases recomended by the the focus group public relations firm that I linked to yesterday. Every head in the room nodded in agreement as I worked them into my commentary.
Today I will think about that. Here is the truth, as best I can figure it right now. I didn't say anything I didn't believe in; it was just that the wording a empahsis was altered.
Is it honest to use such quidance? It is exactly what politicians have been doing for decades. It is exactly what advertising angencies do. But, I wonder if they believe what they are saying, as I am sure I did.
I am going to spend an hour on the patio thinking this through today before I write my next speech.
