The Discovery Bowl hits the hardwood as San Marcos welcomes in their crosstown rival Mission Hills.

The Blue Crew is fired up before tipoff as they look to defend their Battle of the Fans title.

The Grizzlies would start off hot, as captain Diego Czarnowski gets the bucket and draws the foul in the low post.

The Knights do fight back, though, as Dylan Sandles gets the steal and goes all the way to the hoop for two of his seven points.

With time winding down in the second quarter, Knights sophomore Devon Arlington drives the lane, hits the spin button, and gets the friendly roll as his shot drops right before the halftime horn.

He finishes with a game-high 20 as San Marcos fends off their rival with a 46-37 victory.
