1/6/20 Girls Soccer: Grossmont 1, Eastlake 1

Grossmont making the trip to the South Bay to face off with Eastlake on the soccer pitch.

The Titans open the scoring in the first half with a goal from the girl they call ‘The Magician’, junior Dani Chavira.

Grossmont would get plenty of scoring opportunities in the second half, but Eastlake gets a solid goalie performance from senior Mia Shalit.

The Foothillers would break through, however, as sophomore forward Sara Lopez would net the equalizer before the final whistle.

This match-up ends in a 1-1 tie.
