11/3/18 Girls Volleyball: Sage Creek 3, El Capitan 1

The Sage Creek Bobcats captured the CIFSDS Division II Volleyball Championship, beating El Capitan 3-1 on Saturday.

The top-seeded Lady Bobcats were led by the Karl sisters, Hannah & Delaney; junior outside hitter Hannah finished with a game-high 17 kills and 9 digs, while freshman outside hitter Delaney also had 17 kills to go with 3 aces and 13 digs.

Sydney Ahrendt had 10 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace, while freshman setter Bethany Tomaneng finished with a game-high 50 assists to go with her 10 digs.

The Lady Bobcats will host Buckley out of Sherman Oaks in the CIF State Regional playoffs on Tuesday; the Lady Vaqueros welcome in the Archer School for Girls out of Los Angeles on Tuesday.
