12/30/19 Boys Basketball: Carlsbad 58, Coronado 52

At the Mount Carmel Holiday Tournament Coronado and Carlsbad play for third place.

The Lancers’ Kai Burdick scores off glass for two of his 10 points; Coronado responds with Wayne McKinney III who drives and scores 2 of his 28 points.

With a minute left on the clock Carlsbad’s Jailen Nelson hits the 3-pointer to put the Lancers ahead for good; Nelson finishes with 29 points.

Carlsbad wins 58-52; McKinney and Nelson are named to the All-Tournament team.
