$150K worth of jewelry stolen from Encinitas home, reward offered for information on suspect(s)

ENCINITAS (KUSI) — San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate an unknown suspect or suspects wanted in connection with a residential burglary that happened in Encinitas.

On August 4, 2017 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., an unknown suspect or suspects gained entry into a residence located in the 600 block of Rancho Santa Fe Road in Encinitas by removing a screen from an open window. The suspect(s) stole jewelry, name brand handbags and sunglasses, and clothing including Indian saris. The estimated total loss is more than $150,000.

The reward in this case has been increased to up to $5,000 to anyone that provides information that leads to a felony arrest
