2-1-1 Data Dashboard: San Diego’s new community information resource
The San Diego Foundation and local leaders are joining together to make San Diego a better place to work, enjoy, live and learn.
Logan Byrnes sat down with John Ohanian, President and CEO of 2-1-1 San Diego, and Connie Matsui, Interim President and CEO of The San Diego Foundation, to talk about the 2-1-1 Data Dashboard, a new information hotline for residents, organizations, and law enforcement alike.
2-1-1 San Diego data can be used to identify community needs, trends, asset mapping and service gaps. This information is critical for community planning and safety.
With grant support from The San Diego Foundation, the 2-1-1 Data Dashboard was developed using information from 2-1-1 San Diego and partner service organizations to create a comprehensive, data-driven overview of regional challenges.
The 2-1-1 Data Dashboard ensures that San Diegans in-need will find it easier to gain immediate support, and local organizations and agencies will be equipped to serve their constituents. The 2-1-1 Data Dashboard will help regional leaders and organizations decrease the number of San Diegans who are left behind.
